Imagine going back to a feed with ads ๐ฌ

Nightmare.
๐๐ญ
Nooooo ๐ณ
I never left
On Nostr the ads have to be so good that people will subscribe to them by following. I think I can do that with pornโฆ ๐ค
Imagine #zapping a relay host to not see ads and supporting #nostr ๐๐ค
Letโs make it happen!
๐
Wanna buy some stuff?
How likely/unlikely, stupid/not stupid do you think an adspace relay would be. In the same way as eg Slice plugin where you get paid for viewing ads? Notes sold as adspace with revenue shared. It won't be for everyone, but I would be tempted

And paying blue.๐ซฅ
I donโt have anything against paying for services that I spend hours on every day.
Okay, but they still put ad in the feed. At least it shouldnโt be like a โplusโ of the subscription.
Nein.
Feed without ads is the way https://nostr.build/i/04fed0de361357ac02b7dd8078bac4fe5c77f05ee604140e219227a237a9ccd1.webp
I cant even
Advertisments, forced into my feed without my consent are certainly undesirable, but the PubSub nature of Nostr would seem to naturally support an exchange of "Offers to Sell" and "Offers to Buy." Given a sufficiently robust ability to REQ, I should be able to subscribe to receive "Offers to Sell" for some specific item or service, potentially with some set of characteristics determined by me. For instance, I'd like to be able to publish an "Offer-To-Buy," or subscribe to receive "Offers-To-Sell, for a "Model X SmartPhone with XXX memory for less than $XXX, delivered to my address in Zip Code before XX/XX/XXXX." Ideally, I would only see offers which did, in fact, match my Offer-To-Buy or my subscrption to Offers-To-Sell. A similar pattern could support a wide variety of exchanges.
This isn't quite "advertising," but it would be a means to accomplish at least some of what is the purpose of advertising: matching potential buyers with potential sellers.
No ads, no insufferable influencers, no discourse over trivialities. It's heavenly. ๐
I can't for the life of me understand how some people can tolerate ads on the apps they use every day.
No thank you! ๐ even if it means creating a client myself!
