Lying to the government? Seems like a felony to me--why only a terrorist would do such a thing...and therefore we can jail you indefinitely without a trial...
We do that a couple of times, and everyone will be afraid--rebellion over.
That sounds like 1984. Which is a fair argument, it does seem like it’s coming to that. But I don’t think overreach of that nature has anything to do with Bitcoin. We cannot code our way out of a social/authoritarian problem of that level (in my opinion). Fight or flight under those conditions.
