Alone I wouldn't have the confidence. None of us would or could.
It is by God's hand that the saints preservere in Christ, and nothing to do with their own merit or works.
Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
I’m not a scholar but I’m sure Muslims and Jews would probably be able to make similar arguments. You point to you book and they will point to there’s. So what makes Christians right and everyone else wrong?
