How you know a community is white and male Af:

Everyone complains and wants to protect the 1st and 2nd amendments, but no one complains or cares to protect the fourth and fifth

That's an interesting generalization. How do you know when a community is black and female AF? What about Asian and male?

People’s priorities are usually revealed by the trauma they’ve experienced.

They care about things like being traumatized and subjectified by sexual predators, police, military and the court systems

I think the focus on privacy also means an interest on the fourth and the fifth, doesn't it?

Every one is saying no one cares about privacy here I’m confused

That's not the feeling I get from #nostr. Nostr itself, as a protocol, doesn't offer privacy, but community-wise Nostr as a whole is very privacy-oriented.

GrapheneOS is very popular, SimpleX is promoted, encrypted chats will work here, etc.

That’s a shame

So I have to go to a centralized provider like X in order to feel like I can post but my ip address will be protected?

I'm not sure I understand your complaint. What I'm arguing is that there is an interest in privacy and thus in the 4th and 5th amendments, as you mentioned.

Why do you feel you can't post here?

I post anything that I deem appropriate but may not be appropriate to my employer or direct family. They have different opinions and want me to conform to their way of being. I should be allowed to have a space online away from my employer and mom/dad, as I do in real life when I hang out with my friends.

Who's arguing against that?
