I dont agree with everything anyone involved in Bitcoin does. But i certainly respect Lopps research and writings. We need more people like Lopp digging into things and verifying.
I feel the same way about him, and Nic Carter. Anyone who provides real value through their writing and research.
But they are still pieces of shit for unabashedly leaning into textbook fiat greed like that by capitalizing on shitcoins. This is just my opinion obviously, not some claim of objective truth

I wouldn't call him a POS, I don't know the guy personally. Virtue signalling and with judgement clouded by $ is closer to my take.
I agree that reality is nuanced. I used to point precoiners at his site as a place to start. That doesn't mean he should get a free pass. No one should get a free pass.

He has done a shitload for Bitcoin and still does, and he's got investors in casa, if you don't control the company you have to make max $$ for investors otherwise you're out

Casa was always a shitcoin company. In their early days, they came very close to launching a Litecoin product. ETH was on their very early roadmap and even in their kind of "mission" or "values" statement on a blog post which they have since taken down about a year ago.
