He hasn't gotten deported yet, the judge is giving him due process.

The original post said "he's not innocent", in America everyone is innocent until proven guilty. So unless he was convicted of the crimes you're saying he is, then he is, by definition innocent.
He is guilty of attempt to extort a university.
Wether he gets deported for that is up to the judge.
But he's is 100% guilty of "leading negotiation". By self admission. By his wife's admission.
