The payment is for the web front end. It’s essentially a 1% fee to have a web server, Lightning channel management, webhooks, woo commerce integration, API, paywalls, donations page, Lightning address, etc. And to get all that without KYC or obligation to sit a subscription is pretty awesome, imo. That’s why I’m just moving everything over to it. Easy matters.
