Short term sure, long term nobody can hold a ball underwater forever. Using leveraged customer funds or any leverage to hold price down will eventually be squeezed

It would have been a noble cause if only they were using their own bitcoin. Just another valuable lesson of why not to keep you bitcoin on the exchange.

That's what they were paid to do... I'd bet solid money they were in close contact with US Intel agencies to "Mt. GOX" bitcoin
