I’m in need of more like minded people.

So many close people are brainwashed. When I say brainwashed I'm talking in the context of the hamster wheel system we're in, myself included (which is why I'm so upset at it)

The system of ever expanding control and theft of our freedoms. We're told we "need" the following to exist in a modern world.

-electric from a company

-food from a store

-housing from a bank lender or landlord

-water from city municipality

-education from public schools

The basic needs of living have been exploited to profit on the very basic needs of human life. It's just sickening to know that people are being exploited and don't really know because it's what they were born into. That's what's lighting the fire inside me because I don't want to be exploited anymore. I want to get out of their modern slave system. I have been brainwashed but the fog is lifting and the more that's revealed, the more is pisses me off seeing how much has been taken little by little.

I wish I was better at explaining things to help other people lift that fog. I'm definitely not trying to insult anyone or any of my friends or family. I'm on the side of trying to help regain our FREEDOMS back that have been slowly taken over time.

Hello friend

Hi twenty one. How is your freedom today?

Always room for improvement on freedom but grateful for what I have right now 🤙🏼

Sometimes it feels overwhelming… the only thing we can do is focus on what we can control and build the future we want to see for our families. Every day we can make a step in the right direction, even if it is a small one.

A great friend of mine hit the nail on the head when he said knowledge is a blessing and a curse.

You explained it pretty will tbh. I'm with you 💯

Well not will lol. I should proof read better. Wish we had edit hehe

Ha! I knew what you meant. I was having a pretty rough morning and the thoughts were getting to me. Had to express them out.

You are definitely not alone in this. Your feelings are basically what I have been feeling and thinking for the past several years. I feel like I am on a different planet at times.

Come to the bitcoin meetup that my better half nostr:npub1pmqxqm3t2kkyd5slc4lv78sf7g0kyxkt9epr3wflkmdqhl5ugh7sgy0gwm has posted. There are a lot of like minded folks there.

Oh nice! I’m definitely going to go. Thank you both truly.

2 days away..

I think I understand where you are coming from and often share your frustration.

That’s why I like the expression “the butterfly only remembers its time as a butterfly, never as the caterpillar”.

Give people time. Most will sadly likely never come to the same conclusions as you. But some will. You were also wrong at some point about something and had to have the time and space to figure it out. Give others the same courtesy and be helpful when/if the opportunity presents itself.

The thing that can really never be overstated though is always leave room for error in your most core beliefs.

If the thought of being proven wrong about a core belief fills you with anything other than sheer excitement, you may still have a ways to go yourself.

This is great advice. Thank you for your perspective. I definitely have a ways to go and may really never understand it all. They say To teach a subject is how you know you have true mastery of the topic. It’s exiting in the terms of figuring out some of the key answers and makes me want to expedite the onboarding of others. Maybe as I become a master of the subject it will become easier to educate and teach. I am thirsty though and I will keep drinking from the gauntlet of knowledge so long as it remains full.

Thank you for a nice reply. :)

I can’t remember where I read it but I like the idea of there not being singular “correct” answers to human problems. Instead I like to imagine a whole bunch of possible solutions or approaches, each with their own imperfections. Intelligence or wisdom in this model becomes about learning the “wrongness” in as many approaches as possible, instead of only learning the “rightness” of one.

It’s funny you say that. As I read through Bill Mollison’s Permaculture Design Manual he talks about design approaches in which one model that resinated with me was the concept of DESIGN AS A SELECTION OF OPTIONS OR PATHWAYS BASED ON DECISIONS. Not one option/ decision is the goal, rather multiple approaches can lead to multiple beneficial outcomes. This concept can be used not only in permaculture design but life design. Funny how things correlate and come together at specific times in your life.
