So it turns out, insurance is just outsourcing responsible planning and money management.
Just like custodial services, they can fail to.
But does this mean it's better to try to plan and prepare for the worst yourself, or that sometimes life is just shit?
I feel like those who are technically not competent will see self custody as dangerous as those who aren't multi-millionaires will see not having insurance.
