The flavor is not super strong - it's best to harvest them after a couple of days of sunshine, because rain can wash away pollen which carries the flavor.
Or just make some jelly and spread it on there to double the elderflowerness 😄
Apple juice makes a good foundation for that btw 😊
For the stems, as I said I always cut them off, since I am using a pan. I will try to document my process if I still remember in half a year 😄
