from a certain point of view
someone could write a novel, i have not,
im saying: this is story
like a story patchwork
from a certain point of view
someone could write a novel, i have not,
im saying: this is story
like a story patchwork
when charlie james vi and i
grew up, as he was growing up
certain things about his mom were beaten into him and other things were beaten out of him
the later witch craft trials
the book he wrote
to me, putting pieces together i said: this sounds like a little boy trying to find out about his mother
as in: his mom was accused of being a mermaid whore witch who murdered his dad and nearly killed him
was she?
well first off: is magic real?
well what if we crush a bunch of witches just gitmo them surely someone will just be honest
poor little boy
frightened traumatized little boy
with executive authority
cannot fathom to imagine what that was like
how should i know if his mother did magic. i know she did a lot of cross stitch. hardly unusual for the time. i doubt she did. did any catholics? she seemed to be a devout one
i want to mention as background all of the interviews ive listened to regarding a new book by Gareth Russell. hearing so many hours of him, i trust his sensemaking. as in, he has a secure methodology and good judgement.
i dont know that i will be reading the book tho. when it is available in the states.
it was very hard for me to watch: Mary & George (is a British television historical drama created by D. C. Moore.) as in, not my business but from a cognitive bias standpoint i do want to disclose i did manage to watch it
Mary Queen of Scots is a 2018 historical drama film directed by Josie Rourke (in her feature directorial debut) and with a screenplay by Beau Willimon based on John Guy's 2004 biography Queen of Scots: The True Life of Mary Stuart.
i would never watch it again. i like the actors. i liked the single earring. the rest is a total joke to me.
that's preference
what kind of historical accuracy someone needs to buy in and get down
for instance, many viewers absolutely hate the tudors for how inaccurate
i love it for what it is
something like cw's reign is super polarising, for many a total writeoff
just trash teen tv
just selling to teenagers
just stoking desire
pretty girls in runway dresses
to me: how truly bonkers it was from the start had me so truly charmed it was like eating candy
the writing begins with jumped shark
who does that??? my smile
anyway, i am no expert on the matter
i do not have a phd and i am no working historian
and yes actually, that does make a difference and that distinction does matter
my sense from all i read is simply this
if that lady and her husband and their kid couldve run far far far away
and lived as hermits
a tiny little family
raising their little boy
and teaching him how to ride a pony and teaching him how to care for falcons and hunt with them
they would have
i simply dont believe they were afforded that luxury
many luxuries yes
that luxury no
and that's all i have to say on it
so how does this overlay re: israel
stretch leep: going back to the question: is magic real
surely if magic is real
someone is gonna do something
someone is gonna intercede in a major way and it will be on surveillance
at least then, all that can be put to rest once and for all re: this story re: this narrative re: this archetypal imaginal play
i will tell you, generally speaking
strongarming
does not work
i can tell you, i do not practice magic
i can tell you i have prayed
i can tell you i have danced
i can tell you i have sang songs
i would not know if magic is real
i simply am not the one
my suggestion is to consult active practitioners
the world is a more tolerant place
there are people who openly say they practice magic. talk to them.
ack.
