After viewing the images tag s first artist I thought of was John James Audubon because the images are so stunningly striking.

For those that haven’t seen it or don’t know much about John James Audubon’s work.

His book titled ‘Birds of America’ was the subject of a recent heist in 2004 which was later made into a movie called American animals 2018. It is an account of the Transylvania University book heist which took place at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky.

I’ve often fantasized about being an art thief. Watching many movies as a teen in which the thief (often European) had a sort of James Bond lifestyle swanning around the world thinking about his next heist.
