If I go on reddit I discover that trump is desperate as kamala keeps going up in the polls and he deeply regrets choosing JD as VP who he will soon have to replace.

Nostr definitely has some clear political leanings unrelated to Bitcoin, although some people feel like Nostr can only be advanced by adopting certain political ideologies. You will see this in the way some posters, including some Nostr thought leaders, demonize certain political affiliations or lifestyle choices. This is why the platform is not filled with more power users with more varied interests.
Nostr should be apolitical, but the larger community seems determined to prevent this from happening. TBH, I see more diversity of thought and interests in other online digital communities. The size of Nostr’s user base has nothing to do with this. The number of total users is now in the millions, yet the platform appears very homogeneous in terms of content.
