Notion is a tool I've used for many years now. Databases, even as websites. Their incorporation of AI is really impressive. It's like the software has "come alive".

What I do worry about though: where is the space for original thought?

If you can just AI for an answer on anything, are we no longer free thinkers?

I agree and this is something I’ve argued for nearly a year now.

Thought leadership runs the risk of becoming regurgitated plagerism (in many respects)

This goes directly against #pow and #proofofwork

So those of us whom think, must continue to lead and do so otherwise we should just retire and sip Mai tais on the beach whilst AI does the work for us 🤪

I started writing my notes on Gitea. It's like a GitHub clone, but I use the Wikis like a self-hosted Obsidian. It doesn't have as many bells and whistles, but it also helps me learn GitHub/Gitea.

I use AI for some things, but I write to clarify my thoughts. I don't want AI to influence those thoughts so I prefer self-hosting my notes.
