I can't say I blame them, you're getting a raw deal at the best of times, and they're only munching more of your paycheque each year
But clearly the Fins and Ukrainians feel differently, because of big bad Russia
Ukrainians have been pushed to a war they can never win and that completely destroys their country, so it isn't in their interest. They could have had a peace deal long time ago but USA and UK stopped it.
I'm not really in the weeds on this one but I assume its because certain politcal elite in Ukraine are benefitting from the funds that they're not interested in peace, I can't see a regular citizen wanting war of any kind

Indeed public perception can change on a dime, and when the threat isn't in your face, you don't feel that fight or flight response, for me personally even if my neighbouring countries invaded, i don't think i'd be motivated to defend our borders

my main point is that russia's a lot weaker than people think
I think most people realise these ‘forever’ wars are avoidable and only enrich the state and arms industries, and why risk your life for that?
Also, most European countries, and I include the UK in that, are flooded with millions of third world illegal immigrants that will not fight for their adopted homeland, leaving the task to the beleaguered indigenous male population….who are already the most persecuted sector of society in their own country, and who are finally waking up to the reality of the globalist agenda and saying “NO I’ll not fight for you!”
I will do everything in my power to ensure my fighting age sons do not comply with any attempted conscription. Fuck the globalists!!
