Even as a third generation truck driver, I still have moments where it absolutely boggles my mind that humans can come together and pull off such feats of incredible logistics everyday. It's crazy

I worked security at an intermodal centre where they coordinate loads from rail to trucks for a few weeks in my 20’s, and the dispatch room looked like NASA Mission Control. Every desk had 3 widescreen monitors showing train tracks, loading bays, and load info.
It's wild that it all works day In day out as well as it does. Thanks for sharing the story
