I can't send a letter to my auntie in the USA because Canada Post, which is poorly managed government company, is currently on strike.

Normally, it costs about $1.25 USD to send a letter through them. My only alternative is to use a private courier service, but they don’t handle letters—they’ll treat it as a parcel, and the minimum cost for that is $20 USD.

I learned it from them actually, the I started using it because it sounds more feminine then using aunt.
