I mean adding the key, and did what you described (except setting a derivation path, I have single Sig)

But as I said, after scanning the mulit-part QR to 100%, the app just throws me back to the previous screen. I can press continue again, scan again, etc. But the key is never added, it's stuck in a scanning loop

You can also try NFC or microSD if you have an adaptor. (Might have to enable NFC in the coldcard settings first)

Thanks for the suggestion, I might do.. wanted to avoid NFC though.. do you know if the method of adding the key is relevant for later wallet use? I.e. if I add the key via NFC, do I have to use NFC later or can I still sign via QR?

Nope, you have All options available to you at every step when you add the key and when you sign your PSBT. QR should work fine when you're signing. But of course I don't know what the issue is. So it might have an issue with signing as well.

Ah, good to know - then I'll try NFC. Thanks for clarifying!

I will suggest you reach out to the coldcard support group on telegram(@coldcardofficial). You will be able to get a fast and reliable response.

We couldn’t reproduce the issue. Were able to successfully add a Coldcard Q key via QR. Are you sure you scan the correct QR?

Thank you a lot for trying! Maybe it's my phone then 🤷🏼‍♀️

I tried different QRs on the coldcard, first the nunchuk one, then the generic JSON one as described by the nunchuk app, then xpub, zpub 😅

I might try again with the next release - for now I added the key via NFC.
