β€œIn a healthier society, the handover from the Boomers to the younger generations should have started some time ago (maybe as early as the 1990s for Gen X), and that for a whole variety of reasons, this generational transition has been delayed as the Boomers have maintained an iron grip on many US institutions. When the handover finally happens in the 2020s, it will therefore happen more suddenly and perhaps more dramatically than people expect or than such generational transitions have happened in the past.”

They won't give it to us (Gen X). We are considered to be too reckless. The millenials will have to claw it from their dead, cold hands

Gen x will likely act as mentors to millennials and gen z

Well, it'd be the first time we get listened to. πŸ˜œβš‘πŸš’πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ˜Ž

Gen X is the bridge between older generation and the new ones, as the ones who saw, and helped the whole transition from analog to digital, so we have our foot in the two worlds.

Well hopefully they don’t act like gatekeepers. Most of my Chef mentors were Gen x, the majority were brilliant.

Sounds like fourth turning stuff, hope you take the time to read The Fourth Turning is Here by Howe. Great follow up to The Fourth Turning.

Give?

A millennial just took over NYC from the boomers

Satoshi programed bitcoin in a way to rapidly accelerate the handover because it was intentionally delayed

I fear that revenge may be exacted even where not warranted. Got my popcorn ready.
