I tried out the PlayStation VR glasses for a few months when they came out.

I needed reading glasses soon after.. I blame the VR.

Me who’s born with myopias 🫥

I did the surgery though. Not I don’t need no glasses.

Now*

Eye surgeries are getting good these days. I hear they are replacing whole lenses, bionic style.. Imagine in 20 years

Yeah that’s where that Apple Vision going

Fun fact: LASIK surgery is one of the few medical procedures which is not covered by insurance and so is subject to full market pressure. Accordingly, it gets cheaper, safer and higher quality over time.

I wouldn’t suggest it if it’s not really necessary though. Not saying it’s not safe, but it’s kinda scary. Like they cut your cornea open and burn a part of it off. It’s really kinda horrifying.

Iy also heals relatively fast. It’s just kinda scary. When I did it, I didn’t feel a thing like painful or anything, it’s just thinking about what they’re doing to my eye makes me skin crawl.

What’s amazing though, was when the surgery is completed, I could see clearly instantly. It really blew me away.

I’m putting off as long as possible..

🤣 really?
