As a global libertarian nomad with some Bitcoin and a fully remote job where would you move? Apart from the US, of course.

Places that are relatively affordable, safe and have low taxes.

I've been considering moving to:

South America

- Paraguay

- Panama

- El Salvador

- Uruguay

What do you think? What are the ups and downs of each country?

Feel free to share your ideas.

If you're also interested in moving here or you're from these places please let me know and let's talk!

I have no good answer for you, but I’m eager to hear what others answer 👀

I've also looked a bit into El Salvador, Uruguay, and Argentina. I've very interested in moving somewhere like that in the next 5 years.

Would you ever be interested in moving to Spain or Portugal by the way?

Maybe. Both are beautiful and have their upsides. I think quite a bit more expensive than anything in central/south America. And they have way more rules. Laws for every single little thing.

I think central/south America would be my preference, as things stand now.

Have you heard about Liberation travel? These guys help people to moving to get permanent residency Paraguay (and other countries)

Uruguayan here. If you want a (relatively) calm place, with good Internet speed, fairly reasonable government, 3hrs from Buenos Aires then Montevideo, Uruguay it’s a good choice. I am on Brazil right now, and I quickly learn to appreciate the little country vibe and security. On the other side a rather old financial system.

Def look into Costa Rica.

Penso em ir para o Paraguai, é um país bem atrasado em relação ao Brasil, mais com mão de obra barata, muito menos direitos trabalhistas, garantia de liberdade individual e com menor presença do Estado
