I give up with fountain. It's so buggy it's not worth the few sats I get listening to the few podcasts that offer sats.
Back to the best FOSS podcast app, AntennaPod.

does seem to be consistently buggy, hopefully their small team continues to improve because they have gotten better since I started using them
I haven’t had any issues but I listen maybe 2-3x per week these days. Never tried Antenna Pod.
I often listen to 8-12 hours of podcast content a day. I think part of the issue is that I also play podcasts at 1.25-1.5x speed.
Yeah I noticed that on nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 and nostr:npub1t8a7uumfmam38kal4xaakzyjccht4y5jxfs4cmlj0p768pxtwu8skh56yu sats ending at end of month
The faucets are drying up
Probably nothing…
Yeah, but that happens when NGU. 🤷♂️
Seems buggy as they change things. I think there's only a few people on their team. I haven't had many issues. Had to restart the app yesterday but nothing critical
Sure. It's not a necessary app, so it crashing isn't the end of the world, but, it is an annoyance to have to restart the app after a crash in the middle of a podcast.
Same here. I use Podcast Addict though. It has been my go to for many years though. I just wish it would adopt boosting.
PA is good. I used it before AP.
I gave up because the interface is horrible. No one sat down and pretended to be a user with an agenda to find shows and listen to them.
Yup. It's not great.
And don't ever run a VPN and log in. You'll get all the bugs and no more earning.
I use a VPN 24/7. Maybe that's an issue?
It's why my account kept getting flagged for suspicious activity and prevented from "earning".
Aside from that is the major irritant.
Is memory management. Most of the "time to delete" or "delete after listen" options don't seem to work consistently.
That's been an annoyance for me, too.
