Let's talk about why Elon Musk wants high unemployment, despite conventional economic theory.

The theory says that businesses succeed when customers have the money to buy their products. Therefore, the theory says, it's good for unemployment to remain low, because when it is high there are too many people who can't afford to buy stuff, and businesses fail.

Makes sense, right?

No, not for Elon Musk, it doesn't.

Let's dive in. First, Tesla.

I don't know if Musk wants high unemployment, but his base is a unicorn company and his customers are higher middle class and above, not an average Joe yhat found some job. So, if we accept that they try to channel the economy in manufacturing, poor workers that don't demand high wages, are welcomed for them. Unemployment helps with that obviously. Is this what you are saying?

The theory is bullshit. There’s no such thing as “unemployment” the fundamental underlying premise of the whole thing hinges upon that all actors of an economy SHOULD be employed in some shape form or fashion.

This is a faulty erroneous premise to make about another. The economic brain rot that permeates the world is astounding.
