I think Ecash is really cool privacy-preserving technology and wanted to better understand it, and figured many other folks likely had similar questions.

You guys both know that there are projects aiming to profit from issuing ecash and related services in an attempt to profit.
I refer to that collectively as a product.

What products? Fedimint, maybe? But all the action here is Cashu which is an open source project.

The point is I dont think the Cashu devs have stacks of VC cash to spend on promotion.
Of course we will see some dodgy mints rug people in due course, but thats quite different to shady back hand payments to promote the tools.
If you don’t think VCs would dump money into this then you’re a bit naive but I’ll give you credit for having a balanced take. Personally I think it’s suspicious as fuck that all the influencers are pushing e cash at the same time. And I’m not the only one I’m just one of the few saying it.
