I think AI has the potential to unlock a completely different approach to education. You can imagine a Montessori style curiosity driven approach where a child dives deep into their "why is " rabbit holes.

The AI would be able to certify depths of knowledge based on hours in study and performance metrics rather than multiple choice tests that could grant publically recognizable diplomas.

In this world a child might recieve a bachelor level diploma in chemistry by the time they are a pre-teen simply because they've delved so deep into that realm of knowledge.
