Yeah, if I’m really honest, I feel like these whales like @Jack, and saylor shouldn’t even be allowed on nostr . These men have no place in a btc community full of plebs.

Why we tolerate them is beyond me.

I like Jack.

Saylor is the most dangerous influence on Bitcoin. Leveraged buying and superficial worship. 🚩🚩

Elon is a car salesman.

Saylor is a demon, but so is anyone who makes life decisions like this 👇

"Allowed on nostr"

Yeah from like a group or social shame perspective

Imagine building a city for the middle class, founded on freedom of speech, letting anyone build in and around it, then within a year they organize in the city square and consider throwing you out because you aren't middle class like them.

Exactly. No one owes this man anything.

Does he have less rights than the average person?

He has more rights - much more, than the average person - you and I

More privileges, yes. What additional rights does he have?

What is your definition of rights?

Money

We do not share the same terminology

But we share the same Reality.

More money? More rights.

Just a fact of reality.

Two movies one screen

Reality doesn’t work that way !

Well, you can't prevent them from using and working on a protocol, so it's kind of a moot point.

What I meant is that their discourse quite often is phony and hypocritical, seen from the reality if the system. We should evaluate their opinions with a healthy dose of skepticism. Or in any case, we shouldn't give them any moral authority or extra weight because they are "model humans" or "leaders". They are not.

Yeah they should just be “shouted down “ everytime they try and engage in here

No need for aggressiveness. Just being mindful of who's talking. Don't trust, verify.
