France 🇫🇷 : It's not racist to want people from immigrant backgrounds to make at least as much effort as others to integrate: it's just common sense.

We are in a country of Freedom, Equality, Fraternity which supposes to show respect for the other and not harm him (before one day being his brother or sister which is a higher level).

Who are the others that also make efforts to integrate ?

I think clara talks about migrants forced to leave their countries, for political reasons, poverty or war, and the others are those who do so voluntarily, generally referred to as expatriates.

By the others, I meant all people who did not come from recent immigration, and who could come from immigration whose trace has been lost over the centuries. They must also make efforts to integrate into a rapidly changing France, with an obvious social evolution from one decade to the next.

There are natural immigrants that mostly come over admiration for a foreign culture, then there are opportunistic immigrants that come to steal and get personal advantage. The first are welcome and admirable, the second should be kicked out immediately
