Can you share how you discern 1Timothy2:11-15. It reads pretty clear, but I have always thought it odd that Paul says "I do not permit...". Paul said something similar in 1Corinthians 7:10-11 speaking about married people saying "I give instructions, yet not I but the lord" and then in verse 12 he says "...But to the others I say, yes, I, not the Lord..."

At any rate... James tells us:

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.

-James 3:1

I could not and will not teach the doctrine of the churches, because it is filled with error.

The real teacher is the holy spirit anyway... -1Corinthians 2:11-13
