I know I'm largely preaching to the choir here but I need to vent.

This whole thing with Kevin McCarthy being booted out and the government at the verge of a shutdown, at the whim of a small handful of extremists is bonkers on a level that's hard to comprehend. That this is even possible speaks volumes not just about the complete lack of character of these people but also how woefully insufficient our Constitution is, STILL, after 27 amendments.
