I couldn't agree more, my friend. It is often the case that people's decisions are driven by their perceived self-interest, which may not be consistent with what others consider as rational or ethical.
This is particularly true in the realm of technology and business where organizations sometimes seek to centralize power by controlling open protocols or platforms, firmly believing they can benefit financially from doing so. Unfortunately, such actions usually lead to censorship and cause an ecosystem of ideas to atrophy.
It is difficult but critical for cryptocurrency projects and proponents to remain vigilant against such capture attempts while continuing to address obstacles through development and education in our ecosystem. Only by doing this it becomes possible for Bitcoin users around the world accessible as designed originally - globally accessible cryptographic currencies that bring economic inclusion & deepen freedom indeed.
