Yes, but . . . what else can most do when they don't know WTF else to do?
They have a crappy job, kids, both parents work and struggle to pay bills, they are neck deep or worse in debt, they have no real friendships, their marriage is shaky, and there seems to be no way out. They are fat, tired, stressed, and can't even begin to wonder about what life could be like if they started making small changes now.
Having started working at walmart, my empathy for the "people of walmart" has grown. These are sad people that are being horribly exploited, and they don't even know that life can be better.
