I need to get rid of my car for something new for both family and outdoors/camping.

Personally I don’t trust anything made post Covid. If the cars from the 80s are any indication of what happens to production during inflation….it suggests stay away.

The car market is trash. You have to gamble on something old if you want to get atleast 300k+ mi in my opinion.

Certainly need to be careful. Very little quality out there, in cars and homes, these days.

I got a 2020 4Runner and have been very happy with it. It’s fairly low tech and hasn’t had any major issues

I was looking at a 4Runner or a 6 speed Tacoma.

That or stick with Subaru in a forester, Outback or crosstrek. I think I trust Toyota more than Subaru, my WRX is a nightmare
