Microsd card of my rpi node is ded. I'm in shambles. 😭. No valuable data is lost though, everything important was on a proper external drive, just the OS was in the sd card.

The sd is still mountable read-only so I can still manually salvage the configs and setups but it's a PITA

That is a PITA. Did you have any open lightning channels? I’ve been anticipating problems with mine and so I just invested in a second node running on a mini-PC with faster processor, more memory, and more storage. Total cost was <$250.

I have but not that much funds and I can get a node running in less than 2 weeks so I'm not worried.

Any particular pc you would recommend? Used thinkpad x-series?

There are several that are cheap and good. I bought a refurb Lenovo Thinkcentre and upgraded to a 2TB SSD

Another option is a used steam deck from GameStop. Like 250$ and it comes with a screen and speakers.
