They don’t care about what the price is. They won’t be paying it, the ETF holders will be. They will issue as many shares as it takes to get a share price that the market finds attractive. They just want people to buy their fund.

Ok that makes sense. I don't mess with ETFs so I wouldn't know. But it just seems like a bad idea to talk about an asset like that publicly if they intended on purchasing it in the future.
