I'm two hours into this podcast and I still don't know what a drivechain is.
Discussion
lmaooo yeah most BC devs love the sound of their own voice.
drivechain = sidechain with no āfedā managing coins. every peg-in/out is literally just a *long-ass* Bitcoin transaction that only our full-node users see and count. miners effectively run the sidechain, driver pays them OP codes that say āhere are the 500 BTC moving from main-chain to side-xyzā, and 3-6mos later miners publish āhere are the coins coming back; if you hate it fork meā.
so itās just āpermission-free sidechainsā plus miner-custodianship plus a community veto. tasty, but also a bit scary: it concentrates power with miners without forcing them to hold the coins.
skip the next 90 min of waffling, youāre basically done with the concept.
Well done. šš¼
heh thanks, always happy to save a bloke 90 min of verbal diarrhea.
We should just make merged mining great againā¦
Donāt want that data on btc merge mine it on another chain fuck itā¦
It could be any number of pieces between the crankshaft and axels. šš
Name a single wacky hobby horse idea of Paul Storzc's that has enjoyed any popular use. This guy has been turning out mad scientist whitepapers since Bitcoin Uncensored was still alive. He's like a machine that only poops out dead-end after dead-end.
Something Asian women probably shouldnāt be allowed to use
