I've been so deeply bothered by this one for years now. My brain screeches that it cannot be true.😅
That's basically because percentages of something are a simple multiplication:
x percent of y =
(x/100) * y =
(x*y) /100 =
(y/100) * x =
y percent of x
I get it, but still bothered😬
