No. People should go to church for worship, not to find a mate. Far too many young men have been led astray by a pretty face. This is bad advice in this context--not for OP, but for your brothers.

A high view of the church is a good thing. We're earthy beings and we lack community, but don't go adding a sex market to the Lord's day. There are other ways.

I meant its a good way to meet a healthy community and go from there. But i hear what you're saying

I hear you. It's a really common sentiment. I used to say the same.

Reading Rev. Wurmbrand’s Underground Church series (VOM) changed my viewpoint. I don't agree with a good chunk of what he says but there is some real gold there.
