Are people choosing to cross post from mastadon is it automatic? I never used mastadon but seeing some awesome people showing up here...Just wondering how I should engage if it's cross posting.

It's basically a mega bot that makes accounts for everyone and cross posts automatically to sabotage nostr, but nostr idiots like it for some reason
Mastodon posts are bridged over to Nostr, and I don't think the authors there have to intentionally do so.
I have heard that when our replies show up over there on Mastodon via the bridge, we look like bot accounts. lol
Use https://mostr.pub/ relay to cross post and engage with folks over there but expect a lot of spam and very questionable content commin from this relay. They have quite a lot of weirdos on the other side.
