watching opposing views about a hotbutton bitcoin issue. trying to not form an option, and just listen…

though i will say there seems to be a core group which views bitcoin as a software project which needs to continually improve and change, and another core group which views bitcoin as a money project which needs to not change, and remain stable. Two different core value bases. Because of this, and because only a small percentage of people REALLY understand the ramifications of things, these groups are going to continue to stay in conflict. Ironically, most likely to the benefit of all.

The interlopers will get flushed after the fed runs out of ammo and have to turn the printer back on.

The only useful changes are in non consensus areas. Does anyone remember waiting weeks for sync? Mempool needs more love.

Big blockers are back for round 2 with their moronic, useless redundant sidechains. It won't go any better.

#Bitcoins not some theoretical project that needs to be invented. Satoshi #Nakamoto already invented Bitcoin.

All they need to do is maintain it. Strengthen it, and don't break it.

The scum itching to try and change it are just frauds and thieves.

Bitcoin doesn't need anything but occasional maintenance. All that shit they added in the past few years is just bloat at our expense.

Bitcoin itself needs to stay the same so it remains stable money.

If they want the bells and whistles, layer those extra features on top of Bitcoin (like they did with lighning), so they don't break the money.
