Visiting family, and my mother's dog chewed up my new-ish $300 Technics EAH-AZ80 earbuds. I left them in the bathroom last night after my shower, and my grandmother, who has some cognitive challenges, thought it was a good idea to pick them up and put them in with the dog.

Those were my only earbuds. I really liked them. I'm not happy about this, and my ego wants to react. Instead, I will use it as an opportunity to practice non-attachment, to choose my response, to accept what happened, and let it be as it is. It's just stuff. Nothing in this world is permanent. 🙏💜
