In a dictator-loving country like us (Turkey), people find this odd at first. They don't understand. The part that understands starts to think about how they can gain from the part that doesn't understand. The only goal is to earn more. Even if the country collapses, they don't care.

The understanding of participatory democracy in our country is still: It is based on broadcasting the list of the money they spend by broadcasting the tenders related to the works they give live. In other words, it is based on making people feel that they are participating by making them spectators.

And still no consensus. There is a majority vote, that is, the fascism of the majority.
