Personally I don't think inflation is the big problem we're facing. Bitcoin may help, for those who got in early, but it probably won't help the future generations that much.

I think bitcoin is great, but it's actually powerless to stop the falling birthrate, which I think is the medium term problem.

I used to think inflation would be the problem, but no I've started wondering if a plummeting birthrate is more likely to cause deflation in the long term.

And that's new territory. We don't have any economic models for that one.
