Yes, he wants the economy to boom. Likely the plan was to absorb the covid spending with raised interest rates over past 4 years, then grow out of debt by reducing interest rates, slashing the budget, removing regulations and fixing the food-supply/health-epidemic. The stated plan is not to pay off the debt, it's to grow the economy and increase the money supply through private debt such the national debt becomes minuscule. The only way to get out of the way of the coming inflation is the bitcoin liferaft

Personally I don't think inflation is the big problem we're facing. Bitcoin may help, for those who got in early, but it probably won't help the future generations that much.

I think bitcoin is great, but it's actually powerless to stop the falling birthrate, which I think is the medium term problem.

I used to think inflation would be the problem, but no I've started wondering if a plummeting birthrate is more likely to cause deflation in the long term.

And that's new territory. We don't have any economic models for that one.
