Today, I got invited on a podcast run by a crypto company with 500k followers.

I always have a bit of trepidation about interacting with crypto people, but if I can use that large platform to spread the Bitcoin only message, I feel that I should.

So I said yes and just a few hours later got DMd that all of that communication was done by someone who hacked the account.
