Something I've really started to figure out lately, like really truly understand at a deep fundamental level, is that although Bitcoin doesn’t preach Christ directly, it restores a moral layer that creates spiritual friction for those living in lies and ultimately forces you to the table. So at first the logic is that people can’t live in contradiction forever. For many of us here, we were early to bitcoin because of our intellectual curiosity but more importantly we all felt that void inside of us and others and our society. We felt like something was off and still do. Over time, this evolves. Obviously that truth seeking leads us to truth-seeking around money, which leads to truth in money. That truth in money leads to truth in speech and that truth in speech leads to truth in conscience. This is the important part: Truth in conscience ultimately leads to God. Let me repeat that in another way, because once again this is the whole entire point: the logical end to this extreme mental, psychological and philosophical process and journey down the bitcoin rabbithole is the total and complete surrender to God.
The leap from truth in conscience to Christ is where I was stuck before, for a very long time, and it is where I am now observing a ton of other bitcoiners like me getting stuck. This is a major trap for the bitcoin literate and the 10000 hours of research. The power of fiat and the fiat system is so powerful and so pervasive that the devil himself will literally hold on to you for as long as he can when you get into that logical 2nd to last step. Taking the leap into the true last step was one of the most difficult things for me to do, but once I made it, it's now the dumbest most obvious thing I've ever understood. Getting to that last step- like truly getting it- took me way longer than I am willing to admit, but I'm not running from it anymore and neither should you. That is the last step and once you're there, that's when the real fun begins. That's where the discipline becomes important. That's where all this philosophical training and psychological and social conditioning from the bitcoin space comes in. It's within that last step that we need to stay if we are to actually win this thing, and getting to that last step and staying there is the whole entire point. Ive been surfing lowers this past couple days and the crowds been crazy. Makes me appreciate Drakes Bay so much. Funny story about last night:
I paddled out around 6 pm to lowers when its “less crowded” and there was about 25 people out. Waves were pretty slow and then some sets started. kelly slater paddled out and the waves started cooking. I was stoked to watch the 🐐 get on some lowers rights and rip. As he did. Around right before dark a sick set came in I was in position for the first time ever at lowers. No one around me, Except kelly. First set came in and i saw kelly. No hesitation he went. And no hesitation i let him go. Then the second waves of the set came. It was finally my turn, Me Gavins turn to get on the world class right hander. I whip it super quick so stoked, i started racing down the line, time slowed down, i had a big frontside carve, came out of that turn with so much speed eyeing up my next section then boom! Kelly slater drops in rail to rail we were i looked at him and smiled he looked at me for a glance then dusted me. I was still stoked. Like what was i gonna do hoot kelly slater off a wave at 4 foot lowers. But after I came up and was paddling back out with a smile on my face. Kelly was paddling to me kinda fast. He ended up apologizing about burning me and i just froze. I was talking to the goat i was so stoked. Heres my story from lowers last night
