+1 for zettlekastin. What do you use? I’ve been using obsidian for a few years now and enjoy it.

Obsidian is really well done. 👍

I enjoy using it, which leads to using it more.

But I have a personal commitment to using open software, which unfortunately excludes obsidian.

I just looked at zettlr, which has potential, but you can tell that it is designed by a talented developer who happens to lack design sensibility 🤷

I’ll probably keep using obsidian for a bit, while trying to set up something using vim and fzf.

Agreed it would be nice if there was an open version of obsidian. The silver lining is that at least we can keep the markdown files in git. Haven’t heard of zettlr before, but looks interesting!

I've heard good things about logseq and it's open source as far as I know.

I use obsidian, but I also sometimes use fzf + vim and recently discovered obsidian.vim which has some very nice features while remaining light.
