Users can just create a new key. Or precompute 5 and sign that theyβre backup keys. Many simpler solutions than 3rd party signing servers that will centralize.
you don't have to use a third party "server" that "centralizes" that's just dumb and i don't know of any that exist. run your own. use your own. i use Amber on my android phone.
and telling people to create 5 keys as a backup is just a horribly bad user experience.
A client can create alt keys automatically, itβs a micro app bro.
Aint nobody gonna run a server except the 10βs of nostr devs. If you want normies, this is not the way.
until nostr supports key derivation, that's just a horrible user experience, and no one but us nerds will use it, bro. besides, is that a server in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
Donβt you techno-mumbojumbo me we donβt need no stinkin key derivation just export the damn thing in some encoding like words, qr, emojis, whatever.
