Is a Damus seed round in play?
maybe if subscriptions aren't enough to keep it afloat
Expiring events on the relay cuts down on bandwidth consumption a lot. Not a great option, but probably necessary depending on the situation. Paid relays can afford to keep data long-term
Damus will have to go to paid if that is the case.

Hey #[3] have you thought about finding through something like open collective?
If you get “only” 30k sats per day in zaps which I think you can “easily” achieve, it means about 1M sats/month which would be covering most of the server costs.
At the very end I hope 🤞 you’ll be able to live entirely from zaps and other paid services linked to Damus. You’re surely on something big dude, keep the amazing work 💪
