We started Nodestrich in January 2023 because it was becoming clear that most Nostr users were using custodial Lightning wallets. At that time, the most popular one was Wallet of Satoshi, which abruptly stopped servicing users in the US in November of the same year.
Our goal then was the same as now: Teach people how to run nodes for the first time, and support existing noderunners with a community of quality peers and educators to strengthen the Lightning network and to #GrowNostr.
