Are there any local coffee shops in your area? The next best thing to making it at home is supporting local businesses

There's no shame in buying what you like. Full stop. Just be honest with yourself about what you like and who you support. Every dollar and every SAT is a vote of confidence.

Yeah, but they aren’t down the street and there’s two baristas at the Starbucks I go to who are my friends and I love shooting the shit with them and bring them gifts lol

That is why chains like McDonald's and Starbucks are actually real estate companies. Their form of "convenience" is being located as "close to home" (or as close to high traffic areas) as they can get.

The barista/open kitchen model is what makes Starbucks great, though. It is the foundation of coffee houses throughout the nation. :)

While I don't support them anymore, they were a staple of my childhood. The logo always makes me feel nostalgic.
